CELESTE PFEIFFER
Chef | Restaurant Owner | Traveler | Blogger
I'm currently a chef and owner of a Hawaiian poke restaurant called Hi Tide in the Rino art district of downtown Denver. My love of food and travel started at a very young age and was primarily influenced by my Thai mother and American father. They were passionate about traveling and made sure my sister and I experienced the world from the time we were 4 and 6 years old. Growing up I was unaware that my parents were such amazing cooks but I'm so thankful because I've developed a flavor palate that has allowed me to become a chef and restaurant owner without any formal training or culinary education. I earned a college degree in business, worked in sales for 10 years and never dreamed of opening my own restaurant. I also never imagined I would start a food blog but life tends to throw you curve balls and I've learned to accept the beauty of the unknown. So here's to another uncertain and beautiful chapter of life where the world is my oyster.
